 The IWP team is making the final preparations prior to departing for Newark Liberty International Airport later this afternoon! Below is a picture of the equipment that will be installed on one of the pumps in Zambia, prior to it being packed away for a long seventeen hour flight across the Atlantic. The team will be completing a total of three pump installations while they are in Zambia.

  We have landed! The entire team has safely made it to Zambia and we are now currently at the hotel we will be staying at for the remainder of the trip. Having finished a breakfast consisting of an omelet, sausage, and other items the team is ready to start working on some of the prep work prior to departing later this week to the install sites. Dereck, Jared, and Roger are currently out on a mission to purchase the SIM cards that will be used for communicating with the pumps once they are installed, while the rest of the team is working other small logistical tasks.

The team has successfully installed two systems on hand pumps, and are currently working on debugging software to get them up and running. The team hopes to have two working systems by tomorrow! In the last few days, the team has also been involved with a pump repair in a local village, devotions and worship time with campus Crusade for Christ Zambia, as well as sharing the gospel on a local university campus!
